This policy explains how Medina Apps LLC ("we," "us") collects, uses and shares information when you use the PolyCat app.
1. What we collect
No account
PolyCat has no sign-in and no wallet connection. We never ask for private keys or seed phrases.
Information you provide
- Wallet addresses you choose to follow, and your alert settings such as minimum trade size
- Feedback you send from the app: category, message, an optional reply email, plus app version, build, platform and locale
- Emails you send to our support address
Information collected automatically
- Push tokens (Apple and Firebase Cloud Messaging), platform and app identifier, used to deliver alerts
- A random app user ID and purchase information from RevenueCat and the App Store, used to manage Pro access
- Usage events and an app instance ID through Google Analytics for Firebase, such as onboarding steps, screens used, wallets viewed and paywall activity
- Advertising measurement data described in section 3
- Your IP address, used by our backend to limit abuse of the feedback form, and seen by the services the app connects to
Public market data
PolyCat displays public Polymarket wallet and market data, requested from Polymarket's public APIs. This data is public by nature. Your device connects to those APIs directly, so Polymarket's services receive standard connection information such as your IP address.
2. How we use information
- Deliver alerts and digests for the wallets you follow
- Provide Pro access and manage subscriptions
- Understand which features are used, and improve reliability and security
- Measure which ads lead to installs and subscriptions
- Respond to feedback and support requests
3. Advertising measurement and tracking
We advertise PolyCat and measure whether those ads work, using:
- Meta (Facebook SDK). Sends app installs and opens, and events such as onboarding completed and content viewed, with a Meta anonymous ID. RevenueCat also sends subscription events to Meta. PolyCat shows Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. Your advertising identifier is shared with Meta only if you tap Allow.
- Apple SKAdNetwork and Apple Search Ads attribution. Apple's own attribution systems. Apple Search Ads attribution is collected through RevenueCat.
You can change your tracking choice at any time in iPhone Settings, Privacy & Security, Tracking.
4. Who receives information
- Google Firebase: backend hosting, database, push delivery and analytics
- RevenueCat: subscription management
- Apple: payments, push delivery and attribution
- Meta: advertising measurement, as described above
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect legal rights and security. We do not sell personal information. We do not receive your full payment card details; Apple processes payments.
5. Retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above and for legal and security reasons. Retention varies by data type.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
7. Your choices
- Turn off push notifications in your device settings
- Unfollow wallets in the app
- Choose whether to allow tracking in iPhone Settings
- Cancel subscriptions in your Apple account settings
- Email us to request access to, or deletion of, your information. Because there is no account, tell us the details needed to find your data, such as the reply email you used
8. Children
PolyCat is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. International use
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, subject to applicable legal safeguards.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version takes effect when posted here.
